Samsung ML-1510 Laser printer review
The Samsung ML-1510 is one of the new breed of mono laser printers offering sub $250 purchase price and solid print quality. If you're looking for a cheap entry level mono laser you could do lot worse than the Samsung ML-1510.

Samsung ML-1510 laser printer
Fast printing, small price, good choice
If you're after a budget laser printer then you should seriously consider the Samsung ML-1510. Even though it is a bit larger than most budget laser printers the Samsung ML-1510 offers good print quality and a useful 250 sheet paper input tray.
Samsung ML-1510 cheap as chips
The print quality from the 600 by 600 dpi print engine is perfectly acceptable for plain text however image quality is not the best but for the price it is very reasonable.
What I like about this laser printer is the quiet operation during printing. It's nice to see a fast printer that does'doesn't make a huge amount of annoying noise.
There is a single button on the entire printer chassis to turn the unit on or off, alongside two LEDs, which show on line/error and toner save status. At the back of the unit is a fold-down paper exit flap to simplify the paper path of less flexible media along with the power socket and USB port.
Here are the specifications:
- black: up to 14 ppm
- 2mb memory
- Total Input Media Capacity 250 sheets
- 600 dpi x 600 dpi for monochrome documents
- Maximum Duty Cycle: 10,000 prints/month
Samsung ML-1510 is worth your money
With good print speed and quality what more can you ask for? Well a smaller chassis would be nice and an enlarged output paper tray that holds more than 50 sheets.
For the money though it is hard to complain. With Linux, Mac and Windows drivers this printer will appeal to a wide range of users.
Provided you don't print massive volumes the Samsung ML-1510 will serve you well.
